Finely worked by hand, this ex-voto is inspired by armor gloves like the outfits of the Spanish conquistadors. He is struck with a heart and holds a second between his fingers. Entirely in brass with a thickness of 0.3mm, this heart is cut out and then embossed by hand by the artisan manufacturer.
The creativity and imagination of the craftsmen who make these objects by hand offer a vast universe of shapes and colors that vary according to those who create them. In this case: religious art imported by the Spanish conquest.
The gold color recalls the working know-how of this metal by the original Mayan populations but also the precious metal which was the compelling reason for the conquest of the Americas.
Thanks to the craftsmanship, each piece is unique and different.
