Finely worked by hand, this ex-voto heart is rounded by thin a crown of flowers. Entirely in natural metal with a thickness of 0.3mm, this heart is cut and embossed by hand by the artisan manufacturer.
It is a perfect example of the centuries-old tradition of metalworking in Mexico, which was enriched with models and forms of religious art imported by the Spanish conquest.
The natural color is the original color of the Mexican votive offerings tradition, which has since evolved into the richly colored designs that are also known.
