Large baroque cross in gilded wood

Work of the Mexican craftsman Gustavo Chiu Fong this large baroque cross is handcrafted in gilded wood and decorated with multiple religious details. Each piece is unique.

In its center an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe is encased in a richly decorated oval frame, on either side of the arms of the cross images of saints are placed in round carved frames. At the foot are two angels as for the top of the cross it is set with a shiny stone.

On either side of the cross two ribbons of golden lace complete the ensemble and are decorated with small silver and gold milagros.
