On this model, a couple who had wanted a child for a long time without succeeding thank the Virgin of Zapopan for having heard their prayers and for allowing them to have a baby.
The thank-you text, classically handwritten by the artist at the bottom of the retablo, is reproduced on a metal plate hanging at the foot of the niche.
